What tranny comes stock on the 99GT?

I'm looking to put a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter on my 99GT but I'm not sure it will work with the stock transmission.

Can anyone help me out here?

I'm pretty new at all this mod stuff but I have an 04 GT and installed the
tri-ax in 20 minutes on my stock tranny. I "think" you have a T-45 tranny, I could be wrong so don't hold me to that, but regardless I'm almost certain that the tri-ax will work on your stock tranny. I love my tri-ax it is so much nicer than the stock shifter, between the tri-ax and the pro 5.0 I don't think you can go wrong.

Hmmmm now Steeda Tri-Axle or Pro 5.0! Now that is the question.

I actually ripped my freaking center console out last night trying to find my ECU. LOL So I had the shifter too the tranny allready. I can see the rubber boot on the tranny connecting to the shifter...pretty cool. Can't wait to rip er out!
