If I plan to stop at somewhere around 450 hp with 373s in the rear, what tranny would I be better off with, TKO 500 or 600? Is the TKO600 geared a little higher and really too high for 373s? This is just kinda what I gather after reading, correct me if Im wrong. What tranny and WHY?

i'd go with the tko 500... you can get it with 10 spline imput shaft(not like that matters since you'd prolly want a new clutch anyway) and it has a lower 1st gear ratio. plus its cheaper.
if my memory serves me correctly... i read somewhere that the gears in the 500s are just as strong as the gears in the 600s, the reason the 600 is rated for more power is because of the higher gear ratios, or something to that effect.
i think they have a road race tko600 with a lower 5th gear ratio also
