What transmission crossmember is this? Pic inside! Are 4 cylinder and V8 the same?

I got this transmission crossmember with a bunch of stuff with a Mustang LX I bought recently. He said it was a "double hump T5 crossmember". It just looks different to me than other T5 crossmembers I have had. The car was a converted 4 cylinder and he did run a T5 in it but the car didnt have a transmission when I bought it so I have no idea if this is the actual cross member he used or not.

Also does anybody know if an SVO Crossmember will fit other cars besides an SVO? I have two crossmembers Im wanting to sell but wanna know what they fit and what this LX one is before I put them up. I have been looking around online but havent found out anything 100% sure on what this crossmember is. It could be an AOD for all I know?

Yep. AOD. It can be used for a T5 though, if you move the ends of crossmember back and forth. My 90 with a T5 is using the AOD member right now.

My 4-banger appears to have a double-hump cross member, not sure if that is original though.
That car has some serious hack work on it...

What does that mean? I am also using my AOD crossmember with the T-5 swap, but am having problems. I changed my trannymount and when I tried putting back the crossmember I had to push it with a small jack to line up with the holes. And by doing that I caused the tranny to be up higher than its supposed to be. Even the shifter boot cover will not sit flat anymore. Getting driveline vibration on or past the 3000 rpm mark. Any ideas? Thanks

You may have to grind the spot welds off the end of the cross member. On a AOD the trans mount sits farther back than on a T5.
