I have decided on a turbo kit for my 93 notch for many reasons over a SC. Does it matter what heads I run? Iron, aluminum? Bigger valves, smaller? I have recently been persuaded to buy some Thumper heads. Would they work well with my desires?
So far Im liking the HP performance kit, thanx fellas.

You will be better served with a set of aluminum heads. Better heat disipation(can run more timing with less detonation), larger valves(more cfm), and a thicker deck(less chance of lifting the head). I am not saying a set of factory iron heads wont work, they just wont work as well. Also, make sure and run head studs no matter which head you run.

You may want to check out turbomustang.com for lots of info, if you havent already. Have you looked at the turbo kits by B&G or ponydown?

look into a set of edelbrock victor jr's. with some slight work (fox lake) they can flow a lot of cfm. also paired up with a victor jr intake, you'll be getting some good airflow.

p.s. go with brian at b&g.... super awesome guy, and very reliable. his hotsides are the originals (not some ebay knockoffs from vecco) and they are awesome. and he doesnt give over exadurated build times on his kits unlike ptk or others from the past. just my 2 cents

There are a few 450+ WHP ( dailey drivers ) here in town with my ported E7s and GT40's on them. Just depends on where you want to be with a S/C .... there is a point where the heads can make more power... but Boost is boost!! and there is only so much your tires can hold... but it sure is fun!! yes??
