I have some bolt on stuff, and was wondering what type of cam should I get for sound. I heard the E303 but want to make sure. And when changing the cam what should I look out for. And do I have to get 24LBS injectors when I do a cam upgrade?
Installing a cam for sound is not exactly worth the work or money.
Sound improvements are better gained from replacing the stock H-pipe and/or the catback exhaust.
If you are dead set on replacing the camshaft then you want to think about (other than sound) things like emmissions, future mods(heads, intake???), rockerarm ratios, automatic or manual trans, valvesprings max lift, piston to valve clearence, etc.
Another thing to think about is tuning the ECM (EEC-IV) or not to tune. If you don't want to tune the ECM then that requires a cam that has been designed with consideration for the 94-95 Mustang. These work considering there is nothing else lacking in the engine compartment.
If you are staying with the stock heads/intake most off the shelf cams are going to give you an improvement in both sound and performance.

if you do a cam change
Even if you do a very mild cam
that is ... SUPPOSED ... to work with 94-95 pcm's
You got no guarantee it'll work without ... ANY ... driveability issues
Don't be naive here
You very well could encounter some or all of the following .......
unstable idle
stalling or dieing at stop lights
bucking or surging at lite load or cruise driving conditons
A tune COULD be needed to make it behave in an acceptable manner
Then ... you got parts that need to be upgraded
At the lowest level of performance and commitment to upgrade parts
I'd say you would need to upgrade the valve springs :Word:
You will need more upgraded parts as you seek more performance
but
You will have to get more specific with your long term plans

Even the most mild cam you can find is gonna have some lope to it
