Have you considered a T-5 "Z" from Ford Racing? I'm not going to try and steer you toward this transmission because I myself am not sure what it can take. I've got one on it's way that I ordered, though. I've heard they're good for 450hp. Like I said, I'm not gonna convince you to get this transmission, but I know what it's like to be in your shoes and I'm also pretty sure you're keeping your options open to what you go with. Hopefully someone will post pros and/or cons of this transmission that had used it personally. Good luck.

The T5Z really is not much stronger or rated much stronger then a normal WC T-5. It has needle bearings, etc will help raise the advertised HP potential but you can not begin to compare one to a Tremec 3550 or TKO.

just from my own personal investigative work the TKO600 seems the ideal, safe way to go. like i said before $2K-and up is alot to spend so i just wanna make sure im going with the best possible route.....especially for the long run..

I think the t5z is rated for 330ft lbs of torque I believe.

Anyone familiar with them? I figured if they are involved with HotRod's Power Tour, has to be trustworthy. Take a look at their stuff. It looks pretty stout to me.

Keisler is very reputable. The mostly do swaps though. Such as a T56 for a Dakota R/T.
