My car has GT40 heads and an E cam, when it reaches opperating temp it runs rougher than when its cold, also pops through the exhaust at 5300 rpms, I was thinking that maybe the valvesprings are binding and floating the valves. Is there any way to tell what springs I have by looking at them? The car came with the present setup and is not throwing any codes. If not the valvesprings, any other ideas? I already put a 155 fuel pump, adjustable regulator, checked the injectors, and put a 3G alt on it. Timing is at 12, and fuel pressure at 43 pounds. It has alway had the popping, but just recently seems to be running worse at opperating temp. I have a stock temp thermostat, but with the electric fan it never goes over 210. Thanks for any help.
