Just got a 2001 GT Vert, 5 spd for my gf about 1 month ago. Absolutely love the car. The car didnt come with the owners maunal and a warning light came on and im not sure what it is. It looks like a tire spinning, with a couple lines looking like water or something being thrown up. Its green in color. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Its traction control. When the light comes on it means traction control is stopping your wheels from spinning.

The switch to turn it off is below the radio, by the cigg lighter. I always turn it off in dry weather, but I leave it alone when it's raining, just in case...

BTW: lights in the dashes of all (civillian) cars are color coded: green, yellow and red (okay - and blue for the high beams)
  • green lights are just informative (like the T/C)
  • yellow lights have a warning character (like low fuel)
  • and red ones sign a fatal error (like brakes) - try to stop your car as soon as possible

congrats on the purchase. the traction control comes in handy when it is wet outside. i normally turn mine off when it is dry, but will leave it on when it is raining.
