what weld in mufflers for x pipe

looking at some Magnaflow Universal Muffler's ,found them for 112.00$

4" x 9" Non-Polished Stainless Steel

14" Body, 2-1/2" O/O

think thes will weld in ? and sound good with my upr off-road x pipe ?

If you have the stock catback, 2.5" is fine and a good installer can weld 'em in OK.

X's with chambered mufflers sound exotic and very smooth. You'll love the sound, I think.

No, I like the sound of my buddy's '04 Cobra with an off-road X and 40 series Flowmasters. It's quite an exotic sound.

X's with straight through are a bit too raspy for my taste, but hey, it's fine with me whatever one chooses.

you have it backwards. chambered mufflers accentuate the raspiness of x pipes. magnaflows are a straight thru design. I love them with an xpipe. they are quiet at idle and loud as f at wot.

a vendor on corral has the polished ones for like 140shipped

I guess the combo I heard in person was just a chitty setup. It was an off-road X with some sort of straight through (could not see a brand marking) and it sounded like crap. It was too hollow at idle and mid-range and raspy like a wound-up-bumblee-fart-can at WOT.
