I wanna pick up a wideband kit soon to tune my new 347 thats comming. I'm looking into the PLX kits or the zeitronix kits. Anyone have any experience with these? How does the datalogging work? Can you pull the unit and hook it up to your home computer? I will NOT be buying a laptop. I have a PMS to tune with fwiw.

I'm using a FJO that I bought over 3 yrs ago so its a dinosaur compared to those wb's you are looking at, lol.

I know lots of the guys on the Tweecer site use the PLX and say they like them.

I really don't know about you being able to get to the hard data without having a laptop to save the data stream to file. I can do that even on my old FJO.

If the control unit has something like a chip or thumb drive I can see how you could do what you ask about.

As for a laptop......if you keep your eyes open sometimes you can pick up one for like 100 bux that the battery is doa. You can use one of those adaptor things (10 to 20 bux) that plugs in by your shifter to power the laptop.

I been talking with Daggar and he is swaying me towards the LM 1 kit due to all its capablities and you dont need a laptop to datalog. Only bad thing is its kinda big and about the same size as my PMS handheld.
