What size Nitto's or any sticky tire for that matter fit on the stock 16" rims. I wanna fill the wheel wells and get added traction. Rims are out of my budget anyway, but I think it will look good with the stock rims and big tires.

are they 16-7 or 16-8? my suggestion is get some used GT wheels because you cant so much with 16s.

My car isn't where I am at but the tires right now are like 225-40 BF Goodrich Comp T/A's. Those are the stock tires that came with the car from the factory in 99. I was just looking at some Nitto's and they had one for the 16" rim. It was a 245-50vr. How much bigger is that than stock. Would it look good, will it fill the wheel well or just raise the car and make it look even more like a 4+4.

(this is for the 555 R tire)
the only size i found for a 16" rim was 245/50/16 ..i believe these are for a 16x8

so, im guessing if you have a 8" width, then 255 would be the widest you could go, if you can find it

yea that is the tire I want, the 245/50. How much taller is that tire than my stock one(it won't raise the car right, it will just fill in some empty space right?)
