i saw a turbo kit for 3k... and im also getting bigger injectors, fuel pump,3.73 gears, trick flow air manyfold.. but i dont know if that is a good start.. got any comments? ill appreciate them..

Make srue the morot is solid then get a solid & conservative tune and you will be good to go.

That is IF the turbo kit is reputable. I haven't looked into the turbo stuff personally but I think the website to check it out is turbostangs.com ...

Do your homeowrk before forking over the $$s...

yes, a lot of homework. and you want to stick with numerically lower gears (3.08 or 3.27) for a turbo. with steeper gears like the 3.73s you mentioned, the engine revs quicker and wont allow the turbo to build full boost. 3.27s will put more load on the engine/turbo. i'm no expert but that's the theory i have from researching and seeing what combos people have. also, you can learn a LOT from www.theturboforums.com (previously turbomustangs.com). also, make sure you dont forget about important things like the cooling system, head gaskets, etc. how many miles does the engine have on it?

good luck

wow i appreciate all the answer my car has high millage.. but it works and sounds perfect its my summer car... i just really want the turbo..but i decide to ask here what u guys thought about it.. so its better for me to get lower ratio gears huh? and i also need a mass air meter? im pretty sure that comes with the kit... im getting from ponydown.net so u guys think as long as i have a profesional installed it for me i should b fine? and getting the right componets also right?

Its only better to get the lower ratio gears if ur doing a turbo! If u are going N/A.....DEFENTLEY get the 373's

yeah ill definitly have a profesional installed and tune it for me... i just wanted to know what else i need to buy in order to motor can handle the turbo??? by the way my car has 130, plus miles but its on mint conditions and runs perfect too..
