Well the car is almost done at the shop...Finally !!!! I went back to stock meaning it is Speed density,it has the following mods...70mm TB,Mac short headers,Mac off road Pipe,Flowmaster cat back the older 40 series my friend had the cat back sitting in his garage the system has maybe 100 miles on it so i took it....It has a new gas tank with a 155 lph Fuel pump, areomotive AFPR,Air pump delete,All Msd wires, cap, rotor, coil and a crane igniton retard box, car used to have a Paxton SN93 blower on it...Now i have a chance to purchase a Paxton SN89 blower it will make around 6 psi...or should i go with a nitrous wet kit and spray it a 100-125 shot...Oh yeah it is an AOD that is worked!!! The posi is shot one wheel peel so im going to do the rear over and install 3.55's So my question is what would be faster in the 1/4 Juice or a blower....

LOL...no...well i had no choice but to rush the 87 back together..My Dad Has Cancer and was out of work for 6 months he is feeling better and went back to work He was a Heating tech which he had a company truck but since then they gave him an office Job so he needed a car,,His wife usues there new one...So i gave him my 90 GT to use...So thats why the 87 is back together so quickly but i will get bored with it really fast so i was thinking it had a Paxton on it when i bought it, sold that for well was going turbo but dont have the time to tune and address all the tuning iusses so i figure either buy another blower or Nitrous..I just want the car to run in the mid to low 13's and be able to drive it to work on a daily basis..When i get my 90 back i will pull the 87 off the road to really finish it the right way!!!! So what would you do?

I'd go with the blower personally... The power is always there

I'd do the blower as well. Nitrous is cheaper from the get go, but soon enough you will have more money in refills.

Why are you considering a blower if you didn't go turbo because you didn't want to tune it? Regardless of how you push air into the engine, if you run any sort of forced induction without a tune, you're skating on thin ice.

If you don't want to tune it, go nitrous.

True but im going with an Paxton SN89 it will be pushing 5-6 psi ..I will have the FMU,19 lb injs,Areomotive AFPR,155 lph fuel pump..I think it should only need colder plugs retard the timing a little ..Wait i have the crane igniton system with boost retard so i can use that...LOL..i forgot this car had the Paxton SN93 on it when i bought it.......Im still going to even leave the Speed density for now too,I mean it ran fine before with the SD and Blower so i think it should be ok...I hope ....Im looking for mid to low 13's it will get 3.55's and a Mild torque convertor to Compliment the Awesome shift the AOD has now....

you know, if you want the power all the time you know what route to take....but, if a simple nitrous hit at the track to get you your mid-low 13's from a 100 shot....well that's something you might consider as well
I'm sure you will get a lot of opinions concerning this matter. I ran nitrous for many years in my old SD car wayyyy back in the day, and trust me, you get used to the "hit" and pretty soon you want more and more and it can snow ball from there....let's face it, filling nitrous bottles was a lot cheaper back in the mid 90"s than it is today. Something to think about

I have had a few cars with nitrous and a few with blowers to me i think the Nitrous cars were faster...But if i can get a good used blower for $1000 then im ahead of the game...I can get a basic nitrous kit new for $400 i then need a bottle heater, purge kit, and the cost to refill it which around here i think its about $50 a pop....ok the intial cost will be cheaper but like people have been saying in the long run it will cost more then a good used blower....But i do know Nitrous will make the car go into the mid to low 13's easier I THINK? But i still think im going to go with a Blower....I should still be able to get into the 13's with a 5-6 psi kit....
