My steering feels a little lose, im not sure if it's bad tie rods or a bad clock spring. When im on the highway and I turn, the car takes about 2 seconds before it turns.. there's just a little bit too much play for my liking.

Check the wrag joint. Porbably got loose. If that doesn't look like its the problem, take the dash cover and metal plate off under the steering wheel to see the shaft under the dash. And make sure thats all tightned up.

The only way to find out is the inspect where the extra play is located.
