when my car has been sitting for a while when i go to start it it turns over about 5 to 6 seconds maybe a little longer( i didn't pay attention to exactly how long) before starting...when it been running awhile it has no problem starting...what would cause this...i have changed the ignition module, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor, ignition relay, fuel filter(just on case), and reset timing to right below 14 deg....

Something to try if you don't have a FP gauge.

Before you start the car for the first time in the morning, turn the key to run (you'll hear the fuel pump prime). Now turn the key off and do it again. Do it once more and now start the car. If it starts up nice and quick, that points to the Fuel pump. It's not super uncommon.

Otherwise, it can be things like an out of calibration ECT, goofy IAC, etc. I have the feeling the fuel pump is it though.

Good luck.

I'm thinking along the same lines as JT. After your car has been sitting for a while, throw a fuel pressure gauge on it when you first turn the ignition on and see how the fuel pressure looks. It may be bleeding off the pressure over time.
