This isnt about a mustang but my dads 93 t-bird..he doesnt use it anymore he lets me and my brother use it when our cars break...but this is what it does the wheel shakes side to side..and the whole front of the car shakes...like shimmys...and it pulls really bad to the right...kinda scary to drive..lol what could the problem be? oh and the car has 220,000 miles...engine still runs good..doesnt burn oil...thats ford :flag:

it does it going slow...straight..speeding up..and probably mostly when braking..Do you guys think it is dangerous to drive it like this..? i mean it seems like its getting worse each day...it started off like a little steering wheel shake then got worse and started pulling really bad to the right and the whole front end shimmys...

Why not just take it in to those places like Midas that screw everyone over with high prices? What you do is get an estimate. In that estimate it will have a list of what work needs to be done and what parts are defective - for free. Then just buy the parts and install them yourselves. When youre done, take it to another shop for an alignment. Badda bing badda boom :)

Tbirds are notorious for warping rotors. Ford put too small of a rotor on a big heavy car. If it shimmys when you brake it is probably the rotors.

HA HA I did that before because I couldn't get the drums off my old jeep. They had to get them off to inspect the brakes. all the work that they wanted to do was for over $800. I didn't even pay that much for the Jeep. Bought most of the parts and did the work myself for just over $100.
Hey they told me what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. Didn't cost anything for the estimate plus they loosened the drums for me. :D
