My friends and I have often joked around about putting a high-performance head on one side of the block, and leaving the original head on the other side. We have also joked around about what would possibly happen.

Well, what do YOU think would happen?

The one side of the car would have to set up with that specific head ' that side of the car would be putting out more power than the other and might twist the frame' id check out some good subframe connectors.

Oh come on. Its a joke. Do you think I'm actually going to do this? And I never said it had to be a Mustang, I just said on any engine.

One side would breath better then the other. It would probably run, but run really bad. 4 cylinders would have more hp then the other 4.

I have a good friend that works in sales for Summit. Last year he had some guy call him ordering a "driver's side" hi-po head for an LS1 Camaro. My friend assumed he had damaged the original one, but later the guy mentioned he was going to put one head on one year, and one on the next, b/c he didn't have enough money to do it all now. My friend talked him out of that one.

LOL, that would be one chitty running engine. I bet it'd shake horribly because of the mismatched power output from half of the engine, versus the other.
