I thought that without cats you would increase power?

It will be loud. I had 40 series Flowmasters with a O/R h-pipe on my 00 GT and it was loud.

With a o/r midpipe you will see an increase in hp/trq across the entire powerband, especially in the upper rpm's.

It will be loud. I like the sound fo the 50 series flows better but I am not a loud is better kind of guy when it comes to exhaust on something I drive everyday. if you like loud flowmaster exhaust you will like it. be prepared to here it wile you drive though. You should not lose any power flows are not the best flowing mufflers out there. I think when you hear talk about backpressure being needed that is talking about open exhaust. Usually high performance mufflers can produce more power than open exhaust. I have seen data to support that. open headers can cost you some power. or maybe 3 inch pipe would cost you some power. but 2 1/2 pipe with no cats should increse you power. 2 1/4 pipe may give you more low end torque but will cost you upper rpm hp.

Shouldn't you of been working when you posted that? Less playtime, more work.
