The regular super lotto in Cali is up to $45M what would you do?
How would you take it?
Would you keep/stilll drive your current stang?

I would proly take the payments you recieve like 3-4 times a year so i wouldn't blow it. I wouldn't go on TV so people wouln't recognise me. I'd still finish up college then buy a house w/ a huge garage + lift in San Diego. Definitly keep my lovely stang, she's tired so i might put a 5.4 in her and make it a track car...then maybe a black/black 07 Z06...nothing too crazy

you know you've made it when you can call a m3 a crappy daily driver .

I'd send a mil to my moms parents in korea, a mil to my aunty, another to my dad, pay off my parents house, buy an e46 m3, and a ford gt, then invest the rest.

or maybe all on black?

I would just lie and said I won it and ask you guys how to spend it....

in all seriousness though, I'd invest half and live off the interest and the other half would buy me a 20 stall garage with lift and wash rack, and a 2 bedroom trailer next to it

you seriously described pretty much what i'd want. Im also willing to assume the Z06 gtes better gas milage w/ conservative driving than the M3 lol, plus the M3 is suprisingly not very fast....id want a 4 door for a DD maybe an EVO

Invest 20 million...
Give my brother 10 million...
Take the remaining 15 million and build my dream house...
Put my kids through college...
And buy all the collectable SVT, Roush, Saleen, and Shelby mustangs I can find could find for sale--one for each year produced.

Take the 45 million in a lump sum. You may get alot less, but I've heard if you die before you get all the money in the yearly payments, the state keeps the money. Ignoring recent events in Hawaii, I would move there. I'd give my mom, dad, sister, and niece 1 million, and most likely give my 4 best friends (best friends for 25 years) $250,000 apiece. The rest I'd just blow on a house and afew cars.

Give A LOT of it away! When you acquire that much money for doing nothing, you will have many people wanting to do you wrong. In fact, you won't be able to tell after a while, who your friends are and who wants to rob ya ass...

I'd buy everything I really wanted, bank a couple million up, throw a few mil. at my family, then do something rediculous.

yeah you get about %60 of the total, then the gov. takes half so you get 13M instead of about 29 or so cuz taxes are a lot less harsh when you get smaller payments over a period of time.

Hopefully a Ford GT LM Racecar, and a regular Ford GT, and a Saleen S7-R, an '04 Cobra built completely for the track, and a 2000 Cobra R for a DD. Also a few Amg's, Bmw's, and probably a new Shelby just to have one, defonantly a Porsche 997 soon as I could, actually I would wind up with a number of Porche's. I would try to somehow get ford to sell me the Shelby Cobra Concept car...that would rock, here it is for those that have'nt seen it;

I would defonantly buy my way into racing, and compete seasonally, man oh man that would be an exciting way to live. Maybe Trans Am series, a team or two, and SCCA, and defonantly something in europe.

I'd get a nice stretch of land, build a reasonably nice road course, a 1/4 mile track etc etc. I would probably live in Arizona, out in the desert defonantly.

I would also buy one of every gun ever made. And I would have built a state of the art shooting range.

I would host alot of really cool events. And charge bare minimum for advertising to everyone, if I would even need to. Also, I would maybe start a company like Roush/Saleen to build a few mustangs every year in my name, I would hire some great engineers, and use lots of feedback through here and other places to build the perfect mustang. It would be a 400-500 HP/TQ N/A 5.0 DOHC IRS, sub 3000lb car that can outperform every viper and vette built, and would try to sell it at or under 50K. Perhaps the first mid-engine mustang!!

Umm, partially.
Thats a given, being any mega or state lotto automatically has taxes taken.

What you are alluding to is that if one did win $45 mil, the net after-tax amount would be quite less. Therefore, in truth, though you won a total of $45 mil, you actually recieved far less, due to uncle sam getting his cut.

I assumed that the after-tax amount recieved was $45 mil.
