Heres my dilemma.. I have an 85gt T-top but have the chance to get a 4 popper notch cheap. For while now ive been contemplating selling my car and getting a coupe when this little deal arose. My plan would be to take the drive train from my gt and swap it into this coupe. before you say leave the 4 eye alone. None of the drivetrain in it is stock. I bought it as a roller and it will be sold as a roller. I like my car but little things about it bug me. For one its a t-top car and it has started to leak pretty bad. Secondly the body felxes badly and it is a friggen rattle trap. Id imagine a notch is a little sturdier and wouldnt rattle as much. The thing is i can sell my car as a roller and pick the coupe up plus get it painted all for the price my car would get sold for. Any input on this matter.

mine was like a jar of marbles in the hands of a 5yr old when i got it. i went through almost every screw an nut an bolt, its not bad at all now. plus i have a rediculous system in my car that drowns out anything :D

thats what i thought. mine was horrible when i got it. took a nice day with windows down, doors open, hatch open and the sunroof out an went to work with a screwdriver lol. alot of screws were missing so i went to the hardware store an got more an got it done. it rattles again but its been 2 years an with how rough this thing rides an the system im surprised it lasted this long. ttops are awsome but suck at the same time just for that simple fact of them leaking like crazy. never owned a ttop car but im still young lol

Well after looking at the floor pans on the coupe i decided to buy it.. For a north eastern car the thing is solid on the floor pan side. Lack of wax caused some paint to burn off the fender and deck lid but nothing too bad. After i sell my gt im picking up teh notch and taking it right in for an el cheapo paint job. Then i will drop my drive train in and be done with it.
