its says borg warner on it... this is what the aluminum TAG reads : E6ZR-7003-FB REP-AT1 13-52-169 17003 01162

PLEASE HELP GUYS.. CUZ I GOT THE STOCK AOD REAR END..AND IM SWAPIN IN THIS T5... BUT I NEED TO KNOW WHAT YEAR IT IS SO I CAN GET THE RIGHT DRIVEN GEAR.... THNX

Every T-5 I have ever looked at had a Stamp on it somewhere with the year on it.

It will have a circle around it, kind of looks like a sun. Example (93) for 1993 or (89) for 1989, etc...

Mike is right, the 7003-FB was used starting in 86 and ending in 89

Look for the stamp on the side.

If ytou want to narrow it down evern further look for the casting date on the trans. There is one on the top cover on the pass side and another on the main case on the pass side. It looks like a circle with a number in it. That's the year the part was cast in.

Should be a yellow 7-tooth gear, look inside the hole for the speedo, you should see it

OK i drained and opened the rear end...i counted the gears and gave me a ratio of 2.73... what driven gear do i need??? in the speedo sensor...

I'm only missing the driven gear for my whole parts list for the AOD to T5 swap!!!!

I beleive a 16 tooth.

There is a chart on www.steeda.com hat will show you. It also gives you the Ford part number so you can go to Ford and buy one if they still make it
