whats a 78 King Cobra worth?

I found a 78 King Cobra in a barn today. It has t-tops,hood scoop,rear flairs.paint is faded but might be saved, motor has one burnt piston,auto tranny has been re-built,302 engine,power steering and air conditioning,109,000 miles,one small dent below drivers side taillight. Can anyone tell me what an average price on this might be? The guy has ask me $3000.00

If the car is solid, is all there (has all it's King specific parts) and it in overall good shape, it's worth 3k. I'd try to talk him down to 2500. The motor is no big deal, as there's nothing special about it and it's easily fixed or replaced.

If you can get us some pics, that would be helpfull.

price sounds about right if its a solid southern car.

Didn't some guy on here just pay like 13k for a perfect one? I'd say go for it, but like Power Surge said, it never hurts to haggle.

Be sure to check the body pan for rust through, if it's rust free go for it. If its not you better get the price down cause you have a long battle ahead to cut and replace the bad areas.
