Ok, I ran this by Dagger so I hope its ok. Please don't let this open a can of worms as Dagger was nice enough to talk this through with me to try and make it as least offensive to the rules as possible and I'd hate for it to come back and bite him or me.
I've been trying to unload these battery relocation parts for awhile. Unfortunatly I don't have a good idea whats a fair price. I'm currently negotiating with a buyer but he threw the ball back into my court and wants me to name the price.
As per agreement I'm letting you all know that I am only dealing with this buyer at the moment. The item is not for sale at the moment. Just in a holding pattern. This thread is just for me to get a fair idea on the price. I am willing to post descriptions but only for pricing purposes. I will not respond to offers.
Here are the items:
1) Moroso Battery Box. Partially assembled and drilled for the hold down bolts. Comes w/ Instruction sheet, grommets, vent tube, and hold down hardware. I am missing (1) hold down nut.
(1) Moroso 74102 Super Duty Disconnect Switch. 300AMP Continous Rating. The switch is used and does not include decal. Also the insolator on the back has a moderaqte sized chip missin, but this will not interfere with its use.
(1) Chevy Camaro Flip License Plate.
About 16' of black 1 AWG cable. This was my positive battery lead. It has a 5/8" ring terminal on one end and a positive battery terminal on the other. It is in good shape.
32" Negitive battery cable. This was the negitive cable on my car. This should probbably be replaced with a larger cable.
40' 16AWG Green wire. This was to attach the alternator sense lead to the cut off switch inorder to kill the alternator as well. It is safer than running the alternator power cable through the car to the switch. Jrichter has posted about how to do this.
About 3' of 1/0 black marine cable. This is new wire, its just waste that I got for free. I figured it would be perfect for the new battery lead to the switch.
(2) 1/0 AWG 1/2" ring terminals. Sized for the switch terminals and the main power cables
About 10" of shrink tubing for the 1/0 cable
10' black nylon stretch cable sheathing (to protect the power & alternator cables)
(1) 4AWG 5/8" ring terminal.
Thanks guys.
