edelbrock performer heads
lunati custom grind cam
weiand stealth intake (carb)

brand new everything is roughly $1615
this stuff is used

the car this stuff came off of ran a 12.2 NA
edit: supposedly everything is fine, no warpage, cracks, stripped plug holes.

i actually got a ride in this car and it was bar far the quickest fox ive ridden in. of course it was stripped of everything unnessecary and it was a full blown drag car. oh and when he gave me a ride it had a 150 shot on it. it was fast.

Yep you want to take the blower off, its no fun having a car that is fast but is a pain in the ass to work on, my svo was the same way, very peppy, would keep right with my current gt, but tuning was a nightmare! A simple hci combo with a shot of squeeze will yield better driveability, and will be just as fast if not faster.

$1000 maybe less.

If i'm not mistaken the performer heads are the older design that are prone to problems, as compared to the better rpm edelbrocks.

Used cams hold little value.
And carb intakes aren't all that expensive new.

Save your money and buy the tfs kit and make the car fuel injected.
Won't get much more reliable than that.

thanks for the input, no efi for me tho. it would just be a huge PITA since the car was non efi to begin with.

i dunno, im tired of pulling the heads off, i want the car to be more reliable.

the blower is going on ebay today. if i dont get what i want for it i might keep it.

Once you get that Roots combo dialed in, it will be reliable as hell.

i was thinking i have too much compression for a blower, but then again theres guys with stock everything running accessorie blowers with almost twice the boost.
im just frustrated with the dam thing.

I know you're lookin for aluminum heads but I have the set of E7's off my 88 GT sittin in my basement. They were fine when I pulled em off the car in May. Never overheated but they could use valve seals. If you were interested in takin them to get ya on the road for a while shoot me an email. I'm not lookin for any $$ for them, just shipping. Lemme know if you're interested.
