whats a good price for this H/C/I?

If we, as buyers, only KNEW the real reason people sold used speed parts.....
As badass as a blower car is I only see the roots versions on race cars? reason behind that? maybe. All ive ever been told is that roots blowers and carbs make for more wrenchin. Some people like that. Me Im a fuel injected kinda of guy. I have the TFS kit and i have to wrench on the car enough as is. Personally for the times woody runs which are far from bad I think he has way more aggravation then a 12 second timeslip is worth. True hes unique as hell with his combo but he can run jus as fast with a good h/c/i. My recommendation is a good flowing aluminum head, a good cam of your choice, and maybe a lil nitrous. Hopefully you dont have stuff warped which could be a contributor to your head gasket problems.

when the car was NA, after the first time i started the car up and set the timing, the only thing i had to do was fiddle with the idle screws a little. never had any problems, turn the key and floor it all day long.
i just got done reading an article where they built up a 306 and put the same blower on it i have. they had 8.0:1 compression. i have 9.5:1. i think this is my problem. the first time my gaskets blew the heads lifted, 2nd time i put it together wrong, i used copper gaskets that needed o-rings and the heads didnt seal from the first time it started. i only ran it for 30 seconds and tore it back apart. now the third time. i havnt taken the heads off yet but im going to guess that the gaskets couldnt hold the compression.
the blower was fun and all but i dont have the money right now to build the motor properly to work with it. so a nice set of aluminum heads is sounding good right about now. i wont be the fastest or most unique, but atleast ill be able to drive my car.
