Turnkey engine less the following:

front accesories , oil pan, pullies, and timing chain cover. Engine has less than 5000 miles on it. $1000? $2000? $3000? more? Engine should be making at least 325hp.

3 grand?

Don't even think about it. Ain't no way anyone is going to spend that on an engine with stock internals, especially with 5K miles on it. Your 1,600 guess is a good starting point. The Edelbrock heads are the probably the most valuable part of the setup. You might make more money selling the heads seperate from that engine and bolting on the spare iron heads you have.

I'd agree. However, since the intake is port matched, you may want to sell the heads and intake together if you end up separating them from the engine.

allcar,
It is your gain or lost so what we think does not matter. However, at $1600 you would be getting your money back for the heads and intake. So if the rest cost you nothing then why not. Yet and still I bet you spent money on getting the block done, powdercoating and some of the other stuff you listed. Let me know what you decide to do.

I dont know what im going to do at this point. I have this engine sitting here with a spare set of performer heads and intake and carb. I dont know if I want to find a lil something to put it in or if Im just going to sell it out right. Would be pretty nice to put it in a donor 4cyl car!

Shane: I might be interested in the performers depending on the price.

Just fyi, but when I brought canfields through the airport, they opened up the nicely packed and padded boxes and only used duct tape to seal it back up, not even bothering with the padding. Thanks TSA people....
