It has come to my attention that my transmission is soon going to die. Here's the good news, resigning with the forces gets me a 20 thousand dollar signing bonus, and that should be happening within the next 2 months. The tranny is fine now, but I can tell that it's aging, and I think the new heavy duty clutch might be beating on it. Does that sound normal?
Anyway, point of this thread is, if I'm to start looking around for a new tranny, what should I look for. What's a bulletproof tranny that I can punish for years to come, but still has a nice smooth daily driver attitude....any suggestions?
