I recently updated the info on my website for the swap. See link in my sig.

I will post it here later (I can't access my site from work).

Keep asking questions if it doesn't make sense.

Good Luck with the swap, it is a blast.

jason

EDIT: what are you putting the 351w in?

LOL
When I started my 351w swap, I had just had knee surgery. Just removing the spark plugs was a challenge, due to the pain pills.

Has this car been converted to MAF?
What has been done to the car to this point?

It would be easiest to use the stock Mustang fuel rails, and extend the rubber hoses by replacing them with high pressure lines.
The truck fuel rails hook up (to the supply and return lines) in different locations, and the regulators may be relocated as well.

I think the flywheel rebalance was about $90.

Make something up about how since it's a "truck motor", it has more torque, which means you will get better gas milage.

amen brother!! yeah it has been converted to mass air, the complete drivetrain was out of a 93 gt, less the rearend. Well all I guess I got to do is do a comp test on the engine, and see how that goes. Oh, yeah and start saving money and lots of it.

Oh forgot to add this: the bellhousing off a 5.0 5sped will work with a 351 right? Do I have to have a shorter driveshaft? can I run my king cobra clutch on it also? And whats up with the alternator bracket and the accessories.

Thanks Josh

The bellhousing will work, as well as the stock driveshaft.
I am not certain on that clutch, but it should be ok.
I ran my CF dual friction clutch when I swapped to 351w.

You will need to worry about the P/S and A/C. There is a bracket that you will need from Ford. Ford makes then for p/s only OR p/s and a/c.

The alt bracket swaps right over.

yeah I looked at the brackets and they say v-belt only? I think I could prolly knock this out in a week, if I hustle!! I got to go to the yard and see how much they want for it and how many miles and all that. Then break it to the parents.
