i'm looking at getting some long tube headers.. just curious what the clearence would be like to the ground with SLP long tubes on a 96gt.. would it hang down any further than a stock exhaust?

im actually kinda mad at how low my exhaust sits right now.. it's like an inch inches beneath my side skirts

Same goes for me. I don't think they hang all that low and have only scraped the actual LT's once or twice getting out of a parking deck with a VERY steep incline.

Keep in mind that I'm still on my stock bullitt suspension though.

The pic's at a bad angle but you can see that the LT's aren't much down below the subframe. It's the Prochamber that hits occasionaly.
Get the LT's, drive slow over big speed bumps.

same here...I dont scrape the LTs....but when my g/f is in the passenger seat the shorty H scrapes anything and everything thats just high enough...I personally avoid streets with speed bumps...you can find them everywhere here in chitown. I should start another post...how do you guys fix the shorty from hanging sooo low? hangers? I dont have a welder....how do I fix it?!!

nothing like cruising and hearing that scrape to ruin your day...
