Ok well a few days ago i got my skinnies, 15x3.5. Next day i ordered the tires, me being dumb not realiseing what i got, i ordered 26x7.5 MT sportsmans. Summit says they will fit 3.5-6.5" rim, i didnt realise how big a 7.5" tire was for some reason i wasent thinking. Tires got here today, i looked at them and there tiny, i measured them and there like 5.5" wide. Will they get bigger with air in them? Should i try to get them on? I was going to return them and go to dicsount tire and get some cheap 165r15's but if these fit i dont want to wait 2 weeks to get my money back ill get these on now. Any help please? Thanks.

oh and heres the pics...

The tires expand with air in them. Get 'em mounted.

are you switching your cobra R wheels for these for daily driving, or just track use?

Nice! Do you have any pics of how the new skinnies match up with the rears?

Thanks. Not sure what you mean, but heres some more pics, the skinnies are sitting on the rears in that pic.

the tires got put on a few hours ago so these are the only pics i have. They will probably be on the car sometimes after next wed. Im gonna do some tets fitting see if i need a spacer, and i still need the lug nuts, i have about 20 bucks and no gas, so itll be till next paycheck till i can get them on and head out to the track.

I wasn't sure how they'd match up, as you said they are a different brand of wheel right? They look good, just need matching center caps!

Yea the rears are pacer, i got them on ebay with the tires for 150. I looked for months to try and find a set of used skinnies but couldnt find them so i just bought them new. They are different brands, but pacer is just a copy of the draglites so they look the same, I would take the pacer center cap off and leave it with no center caps but they dont come off, so ill just run the fronts with no center caps so it dosent say welds up front and pacer in the back, or maybe ill just paint both center caps black if the front looks bad.. Thanks guys.

rear rims are 26x10.5, 11.5" tire. Backspacing is 5" and yes i still have the quadshock on. No rubbing issues at all until you get someone in the back seat, then its hell.

Woa dude, how for do they stick out?

I got 26 x10's on 8.5" wide/5" BS and they are right at the wheel lip. The lop is rolled and when they rub (not often) the lip hits the top of the tire and does not cut it.

Those should look real nice on the car.

I am gonna head out next wednesday unless something big happens and try to get into the 12s on spray. We'll see how it goes. I'd like to see the car with the skinnies on it.
