Whats needed for an EFI 351 based motor to fit under a stock hood?

I'm trying to decide on a combo, either a 347 or a 351 based motor. I'm trying to see what is gonna come out cheaper. I want to use the stock hood, thats a must!

My next question, if drop mounts are used for the 351, will it still bolt up to the transmission good and will the transmission need drop mounts as well? Will I still be able to run longtubes?? The 351 is probably better for hp per dollar but if I will need a hood, i'll do a 302 based motor.

every 351 swap i've seen had a raised hood. go with the 347 or 331. you can't tell it's a 331 or 347 from looking at it... when someone asks, what are you running? tell them it's a 302... he he he

the only thing you can do is put a fake cowl onto the stock hood and ruin the whole car.

You will have to get drop mounts and a K member to fit it. No carb will fit only EFi's(not all) I believe.
