2nd day with the new thumper/tmoss engine. Car is running FANTASTIC!

went out again for the last time and put a load on it to seat the rings one last time. I didnt think the B-cam was a real high rpm cam, but it pulls all the way to 6k and gets there fast!

just wondering!

advertised to be around 5500, the heads are probably helping you get there, just because its not advertised at 6k dosent mean it wont rev it, probably be best to take it to the track and see where the optimum shift point would be for the heads and cam, just cause the cam revs that high dosent mean its the best point, gotta see where you start out in the next gear, etc (daggar tried to explain it to me couldnt really get the concept 100%)

My bcam stock heads and stock intake will rev to 5700, I dont take it past 5400 though.

I think the best shift point, is to where when you shift, your rpms will hit right back at the torque peak.

The best way to find shift points is to hit the dyno. That'll tell you peaks and where you should shift, regaurdless of what the cam is advertised as.
