Whats the best brand of window tinting?

Several people Ive taled to say 3m metal something.

I have Llumar tint on my car. It still looks great after over a year. I had 3M on my last car and it turned purple after a year or so...I think a lot of it is in who installs it. But who knows.

I heard that the purple color comes from using window cleaner that has ammonia.

I have tint that is about 9 years old and it looks brand new. No color change at all. My previous car had tint and I used ammonia-based window cleaners and it turned purple after a while.

That's what I heard.........plus almost all window cleaners sold in auto stores specifically state that they are ammonia free. Must be something to it.

madico onyx. tritek does pretty decent tint work. also autosount systems in bedford does a good job...EW on dfwstangs works there you can pm him for info, they have done stuff for me but never tint.

yeah i just got my windows tinted last week and they told me not to use any ammoniabased cleaners that it will turn them purple
