whats the best compound & polish combo.

A friend of mines 98 Laser Red GT can use some badly needed TLC. I have the porter cable with Yellow, orange, white, and grey pads. What is the best compound and polish combo to use. I currently have the optimum compound and polish but want to know if there are beeter products

Optimum is a great line there really isn't a need to buy others. But if you're working in the sun I would say Poorboys ssr2.5 and ssr1 would be the easiest to use in direct sunlight/hot surface.

My detailing is done in a Garage. Also have anyone used Optimum Hyper Compound.
