WHATS THE BEST ROUTE???

alright right now i got a newer lower end 302 bored out 30 over with hyperpistons and 9:5:1 compression and trick flow heads, air gap intake. question is... i want more power down the road and im trying to figure out what i wanna do and start saving for......
1st option: buy a paxton and run it at 6-7 lbs of boost on my current motor.
2nd option: buy a 347 stroker from dss racing short block and match port my current heads and intake.

which option would have the most power? thanks

With H pistons you are somewhat limited. I wouldn't put a blower on the motor with them in it. If I were you I would do a 331/347 short block and put your top end on. Once you have a stout setup you could always add the blower at another time. If you put a blower on your current setup and blow the bottom end you will be looking at getting the DSS shortblock then.

I agree with 68EFIvert do not put a blower on it with those pistons. Either swap em out for a set of forged pistons or just go with a stroker short block.

i was thinking the same thing.... i will just buy a short block and run some juice to the 347...
