What's the best suspension I can put on my 'Stang?

No price limit, I'm just looking at getting the best to put on there. Currently, I've been looking at the Steeda G-Trac Stage 3 with Tokico struts, but I really would like to hear what you all have to say.

Well I would think if money was no object you would go with a coilover setup.

I would look at maximum motorsports, griggs, etc

now the no price limit stuff can run you $4500 though. that is race ready suspention though

bare minimum IMO would be:

springs
shocks/stuts
subframes
rear lower control arms
possibly a panhard rod

coilovers, torque arm/panhard rod or 5 link and extra chassis stiffning is proably a bit over kill unless you car is ont the track multiple times a year.

try Evolution motorsports I like the look of their stuff.

Tri link rear and Watts linkage. Then you'll want new shock/spings alround, uprated bushes, anti-roll bar, chassis bracing and adjustable everything.

1st question is What do you want to do with your car? There is a major difference between drag race suspension and road race suspension and street car that handles OK suspension!

I just put an IRS in mine with all urethane bushings. I added a set of bilstiens and HR race springs. It is like a night and day difference from the old setup.

I intend to get a MM tubular k-member, Kenny Brown tubular a-arms (for the rear) and coil overs.........when money allows.

the saleen one is a decent setup, but maximum motorsports is worlds more advanced. plus they, at least for me, are local so im supporting a local business. plus their customer service is second to none.

I like maximum motorsports also, good dudes, they answer all questions and have good customer service. I will be ordering more stuff in the future im sure.

Im putting mine on this month. The shocks and struts are literally Bilstein with N2 Racecraft decals on it. Maybe the valving is different? I am also putting on their progressive rate springs, larger front sway bar and rear control arms. I can post pictures when I'm done hopefully next week.

Hey 90 Ranger, how do you like your bilsteins? Do you think they were worth the money over, say tokicos (if you could know that). Im looking into suspension but I dont know if I should wait and save or not

Realistically with shocks you only really need to buy them once, so I would say yah save for the bilstiens. They are a great shock and perform the best aside from coilovers. Ive always had good experiences with bilstien, I used bilstiens on my offroad ranger before I went to fox racing coilovers/race shocks on it, I wouldn't own any other monotube shock beside bilstien. Don't get me wrong though Tokicos are a good shock aswell, I haven't ridden in another lowered mustang with suspension upgrades, so I can't compare the two.

because he asked for the best parts he could put on his stang. FRPP are good for wheels, diff cover, driveshaft, PI heads, brakes, and some other little parts. suspension wise, aftermarket is the way to go.

Well, the bullitt suspension kit is a good basic setup (and a bargain!) - but if money is not an issue, there are far better setups available.
