whats the difference between 96-98 and 99-04 spindles?

what is the difference? i know the 96-98 are a bit wider than the 94-95, but i keep seeing 99-04 spindle/rotor/pbr sets on ebay and the like for cheap and have been thinking about getting a set to start my 5-lug part collection, and would like to know if they would work of if i should just go the 94-98 route?

According to the Hollander Interchange manual on www.car-part.com there is no difference between the 96-04 spindles. I looked up a 1998 spindle and it gave me a bunch of 2000 and newer parts available. I did buy a complete set of 2000 spindles, calipers and rotors for a guy on here, and he put them on and they look OK with his 17x8 wheels.
