ok i'm doing a pi head swap

and my only question is what is the name of the coolant line under the intake, that runs from the heater core to the waterpump?? i went to 2 autoparts stores and they didn't know what i was talking about and said i should go to a dealer. and when they thought they had the right one they sent me the heatercore hose....not the one that goes under the intake

The dealer should have a cutaway diagram you can point out to them. But it is the coolent hose under the intake. That is what it is described as.

I've heard it referred to as the valley coolant tube. Not saying that is textbook nomenclature, but rather a common reference.

If you find a part number, post it up, so that someone searching for this can benefit as well.

My guess is "the coolant line under the intake" . I honestly dont know...but im betting that the above ^ is what its really called. Eh, learn something new every day
