What's the purpose of an EGR spacer?

I know it's highly used on the Foxes, but don't know why.

If you mean the spacer between the throttle body and upper intake manifold with coolant lines into each side, it recirculates exhaust gases. If you search the threads it's discussed about a million times cuz people always want to disconnect those lines (by the way, don't). Hope that's what you wanted to know. If not, my bad.

Correct. But Rio told me I don't need it since I have no EGR on my car. I will be changing to a Fox set-up and need the EGR plate to bolt the throttle bracket to. Any of you have any laying around?
