Whats the torque spec for the driveshaft U-joint caps?

I guess he means the 4 bolts that hold the driveshaft to the yoke, or whatever you wanna call the round thing thats held to the pinion.

i call it the rearend flange.

the yoke is the front of the DS that goes into the back of the transmission

O_O

to me it seems like he means the 4 bolts holding the DS to the rearend, i use the good'n'tight method, actually i just zip them down with an impact. i dont sit on it clunking it though, just zip em down and a few hits does em good.

Ya know, I wasn't sure myself. I also thought we might be talkin about a 9" rear, in which case there can be some U's to tighten as I recall.

I guess it wasn't important since he hasnt come back.

The 4 Bolts that hold the Driveshaft to the Companion Flage is 71-95 Ft. Lbs. Make sure you use new Bolts that have the Yellow Lock Tight, also make sure you line up the match marks on the Driveshaft and the Companion Flange.
