What's the tube size of a Borla catback?

I'm looking at a Borla catback, but the owner is 1000% positive that it has 2.25" tubing. If the size really is 2.25", then what would be the point of buying a Borla catback? The mandrel bending won't add as much power as advertised, would it?

Bolra uses 2-1/2" T-304 SS for there Mustang catback systems, not the 2-1/4" as suggested by the owner.
Take a look here and see for yourself.http://www.need-4-speed.com/borla.htm

That's the thing about Borla catbacks. If you find a good one at a good price, you're getting scammed. Case in point, this Borla catback that I bought from a seller with perfect feedback: eBay Borla catback

That's one of the most impossible cases of fraud I've ever seen - perfect feedback, pictures, description, yet I lose the money. Best deal ever, too.

Now, this is the catback I'm asking about. The guy is absolutely certain that it's 2.25", so I'm staying away. Gotta be a hackjob. other Borla catback

eBay sucks.

My Borla catback system had Borla stamped right into the Muffler, so that my be something to look for next time.
That's the whole problem with eBay you never really know what your going to get until you actually have in in your possession.

That system looks just like the one on my car. However, it's been on mine for close to 12 years. They do last a long time although mine has never seen snow or salt. the pipe diameter does sound right. I tried measuring mine but only had a metal tape and had to eyeball it but is is closer to 2 1/4 than 2 1/2. The square tip is 2 3/4 so ask him to measure everything.
