What's the widest size tire I can use on my 18x9" FR500 wheels? 285/35's or 295/35 or what?.. just wondering so I can look before I buy new tires for the rear!

I was kind of wondering the same thing. I run 285/35's right now, and a buddy of mine has 295/35's, so I know you can go with either of those sizes. I want to go bigger though, was thinking of 315's or 305's. I have 18x10's, so I wasnt sure if either of those sizes would rub, possibly on the quad shocks?

I'm not sure, but i'd like to get the fattest tire out back that I can

Plus, I found a pretty good deal on some BFG DR's 295/35 and i'd LOVE to get them, since i'm needing 2 new tires

Try the tire manufacturer's website. Usually they will tell you the widest and narrowest wheels they recommend for their tires...

You can definately run the 295/35s on the rear. Since you've found a good deal on a tire you like in that size, I would say go for it.

Dude, I kinda got you mixed up with Blinkstang and though you had 18x10 rims. I know the tire size is not a problem on the car, but I'm not 100% sure about the tire on a 9" rim. I would think it would be OK, because my 265's actually look narrow on the front rims. Sorry...
