Just wondering about this car that was offered to me.

It's a 1990 Mustang Notch, 2.3l.
Body is in fair condition as in paint, no dents. Interior is rough. Engine seems to run ok. A/C does not work.
Car I think has about 100k on it.
One of our customers (body shop) kid drove this thing. If I get it then I will @ least get my cheesegrader taillight and 16" Pony's back, because he bought my wheels and we traded taillights.

What would you guys pay for something like this.
I have about 2 days to make my mind up.

sorry no pics.

2.3 Fox Mustangs go for well under $1000.....at least in South Florida they do. They are a dime a dozen, and with high mileage, rough interior, and no AC....$500. I wouldn't pay more than that. If it is in perfect condition, interior good, exterior solid, no rust anywhere (including under and all body seams), then I can see maybe going $800.

I would not pay more than $1,500 for a 4 cyl in mint, spotless condition. If you do you are wasting you money. From how you descibed it I'd say $500. These cars a expensive around here too but it is what it is a 4 cyl mustang./

Thanks guys, I basically offered $400-$500 for it. I more so interested because I think it would be real cool for my 11 year old son to see this car parked @ his papa and granny house in the country, and be able to say it's his. I told him his 1st Stang would have to be a 4cyl just like me. I think it would be a good project car. He loves Mustangs and this would make him estatic.
Not to bring up again but it has my old 16" Pony' on it and my cheesegrader taillights.
From what I figure this should not be a hard car to work on. Also when he is 15 and able to drive the foxes should be even harder to find.
Once again thanks guys I know I can always count on straight answers from you folks.
Later "GT"

I would have to say notchbacks are the most desireable body style for the Foxbody. They are light and they look sweet. Alot of people are always looking for Notchbacks for the V8 swap. A 4banger notch in decent shape would go for about $800- $1,000. One with a very nice body, paint, interior Iv'e seen go for $2,500 on ebay.

Two dallah! Two dallah!

I'd say $1000 would be fair. Anything more, walk away from it.
