Whats this horrible sound?

run the gas.. see if it works.. if it doesnt check your timing... i think that could be all that has to do with it.. at the least bring it down to 14 degress or 17...

Ya, those damn platinum plugs sucks! So do misfires! But if you got a misfire that sound slike a clanking sound like aluminum slapping against something, i think i'd definatly be worred:scratch: That doesn't sound like a tippical misfire. Usually i hear mine in the exhaust tone. But hope you find it man, stuff like that can definatly suck. Still sounds like some u-joints to me. Sometimes if i shift to like 3 when i should be in 2, mybe going up a hill, i hear a rattling sound and it takes a second to get up to speed, i shift to second it stops and the car takes off...do you know what i mean? All it is in my car is that im not in a low enough gear. So...but yea, good luck.

Yea people say theyre worthless and its just a lightshow basically. I got one too, i got a brand new Automater for 10 bucks so i said why not, and it looks cool at night, it adds to my other lights from my head unit. Although it shouldnt stay at lean all the time...Mine always stays between 10:00 and 12:00 position during normal driving. If its just stuck all the way to the left (not moving) its prob not hooked up. Thats what mine did when mine wasnt hooked up yet. I would no way use one to tune my car or anything, just looks cool.

correct, it does not do this while revving... and i tried putting in 93 and it still does it.
Even if it is 93 it doesn't matter if you are having pre-ignition.

Make sure all your tune up items are new, Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, etc....

And make sure you timing is set correctly.
