What's with the 15" spare???

I don't know if my car originally came with 17" wheels or not, but the spare is 15". Rolled up alongside the wheels on the car, the spare's about 1 1/2 inches shorter than the regular wheels, which are 17x9 on 245x45x17's. If needed, is it safe to use this spare? Yeah. The 15" spare is called a compact spare to save weight and space. They're common in many cars. It's safe to use in case of a flat but many are only rated for ~50mph and should only be used for about 50 miles at a time. So it works in a pinch, but you definately want to fix the flat as soon as you can.

the cobra's came with a 17" spare due to the larger front rotors.

I made a cheap pair of skinnies with a pair of 15's and some 165/15's. (They are aluminum and very light)

Well, sure, they may say 50 mph, but they CAN go faster than that. If you blow one going faster than that, don't sue me! (That's why they tell you like ~50mph) Also, it's not the size of the wheel that matters, it's the size of the tire. If it's shorter/taller and you run it in the rear, you *may* damage your limited slip. Um....I don't kknow what else, I've been drinkin, but I tell you what, if you have to run a Donut, you'll want to change it out in a hurry because it looks GAY....i had to run one for a day and i know..... i just told people i had skinnies on the front hahaha
