I swear every time I touch the loud pedal I can see the needle drop some.
Same as the boost gauge. It moves inversely to the gas gauge.

On my stock '03 GT (5-speed), I can get 20-22 mpg out of it regularly...that's the city mileage (maybe with a slight amount of highway in there). The car has 113K miles on it.
The best I've gotten out of it was 27 mpg on the highway.

I forgot what my city was(didn't matter to me anyways) but my old 97 got around 23 mpg with 4.30's and full exhaust/tune.
I get about 17 in the city and 22-24 on the highway at 75ish... I have gotten upwards of 27 mpg, but that was at 60mph where it's hanging around 1600 rpm.
In a mixture of probably 40% short highway travel and 60% in town driving I usually get about 200 miles out of a full tank of gas...usually average 16mpg having an intake...throttle body..plenum....off road xpipe..catback....4.10 gears...pulleys....and street tune...Good enough for me!

Does anyone know why my car is doing 12mpg average? I have about 92,000 miles, do I need to replace my 02 sensors?

I think its a combo of things. Could be that you need a simple tune up. Or if the car has mods it is diminishing the mpg. I know when my car was stock, it got the best mpg, now that it has exhaust/cai, it went down a little bit, I guess the only way you can recover this is get a tune. Other than that tune up sounds about right if its stock.
My former cars at 70mph

i get about 230-240 miles out of a full tank of city driving. i dont abuse mine though at times i do but 90 percent of the time i dont.
Edit: new plugs, new wires, coolant flush, new t stat, synthetic oil, CAI, h-pipe, 60 series flomasters, and 3:73 gears, no tune, i was told i didnt need one with what i changed out, but then agian i dunno sheet about tuning
