I am finally going to get new wheels. I am replacing Charcoal Bullet wheels on a 2002 gt with 2003 cobra wheels. The Bullet wheels have a 5.72" backspacing and are 8". The 2003 cobra wheels have 6.12" backspacing and are 10" wide. I am not sure how exactly the backspacing works and I need to know if this will cause a problem with the 2003 cobra svt wheels fitting on my car.

they should fit fine but just wanted to clarify that 2003 cobra wheels are 9" wide not 10"
Unless they are aftermarket like afswheels.com They make those in 10 or 10.5 I think.

I hope you only plan on getting these for the rear. Because 10.5 wheels will NOT fit on the front.
