Just got a new Bullitt and I am considering getting a new set of wheels for the car. I'd like to keep the stockers in good shape just in case for the future, and I also would like something a little flashier. I want to stay with the bullit style wheel, but I'd like to get a set of knockoffs in chrome or polished. Anyway, I know most guys run 18x10 on the rear and 18x9 on the front. I want to stick with a tire close to the stock size, maybe a 255/45/18? Is that too narrow for a 9"-10" wheel? I like the look of a dished wheel that sits even with the fenders, what kind of offset looks good on these cars if I want to stay with a smaller tire? Any input appreciated

If you want to stay closest to stock, you're best off with a 275/40/18 on an 18x10 or 255/45/18 on a 18x9. In all honesty, though, it looks better if the front and rear have the same sidewall. So if you're dead set on keeping close to stock, I would just go 18x9 all the way around and go with 255/45/18.

What offset would look best with a 255 on a 9" wheel?

+30MM or something near that would look best.

Looks great, is the car at stock height? And do you know the offset/backspacing/width of the wheels?

Lowered...

Steeda springs and d-specs, lowered... not sure how much.

Wheels are 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear; Ill have to check offset when I get a chance.

Rims are from this site http://www.1goldenapple.com/brand_detail.php?id=sporttuner&wid=31

Check from there.

Good luck

255/45/18 up front and 285/40/18 out back. Thats a sweet looking combo and is pretty close to stock tire height.

+1!
That seems like a great alternative for keeping near stock size and the ability to rotate as well

I wonder what my wheels would look like on the Bullitt?????
