Anyone here have the factory wheel specs for an 04? I am looking into aftermarket wheels and want them to fit properly. Anyone know what the correct offset and backspacing would be for 17x9 rear and 17x8 front?

Also, has anyone seen the Halibrand/Cobra style wheel on a 99-04? Mine is silver, and I'm thinking that the silver Halibrands would look pretty good in place of the Bullitt style wheels.

Thanks!

A lot is dependent on if your car is lowered and if you have the rear located solidly with a panhard bar as to which offset you can use.

In my case I have a panhard bar to control lateral movement, so I was able to go with a 15mm offset using a 9" wide wheel and a 275/40-17 tire along with being lowered 1.5" and I have never had a rubbing issue.

Up front, I used an offset of 17mm with an 8" wide wheel and a 245/45-17 tire and no rubbing there either.

Front and rear are very close to be an equal distance from the wheel well lip, I think the rear is about 1/8" in more so if you wanted to get it exact I would go with a 20mm off-set on the 8" wide wheel up front. That was my intension but I could not find a 20mm offset in the wheel I wanted.

I like those Halibrands too but couldn't find the off-set I wanted at the time either, but now there is a guy out in California that has some manufactured for a better off-set using a 8" up front and a 9.5" rear. Here's the link:
