Wheel Poll

Well the time has come to get rid of the garbage 5-spoke GT rims and upgrade. I am already almost certain what rims I want, but I decided to see what Stangnet thought on the matter.

The choice would be down to 2 wheels:
18x9/10 Chrome Saleen style

18x9/10 deep dish Black Bullitt style

most people would say, Chrome Saleen's BUT!!! it's almost the same design as ur old wheels,

i would go with the black bullitt's,
they just look so damn good on new edge stangs,
if i had to pick something else. it would be some cobra R's gunmettle OR black chrome,

In my opinion, given all other things are right (tinted windows, lowered, chin spoiler, etc), black rims look better on a light colored car like yellow or white. Your car obviously already has those other things, plus some extra (Cobra bumper, hood, etc), so I say black Bullitts.

If you have upgraded brakes IMO go with Saleens if not stick with the Bullits. And just to throw a wrench in the mix consider BLACK CHROME

I'd say do a coin flip. Do best of 3 flips. Either one will look great on the yellow. That being said I voted for the black bullitt.

Keep in mind the cost difference in tires as well, depending on the tire you want.

Either wheel would look good, but it seems everyone has or wants black Bullitts. Saleens were popular a while ago but seem to have died off.

Personally, on that car I'd go with a Hypercoated Saleen.

I have Black Bullitts and I like them. I know everyone has them but they are what I like so I could care less if other ppl think they are overdone.. I do think that the chrome saleens would look good though espically in 18's. For some reason I don't like bullitts in 18's but you could change my mind. When I decide I'm ready I will be getting 17x10.5's out back and I will be done with wheels.

I also vote for someone who is better with computers than me doing a photoshop for both rims on the car.

I say Black Bullitts or Black FR500's. I've seen them both on yellow and they both look great.
